UmmahArmy is where masjids, charities, schools and Muslim businesses post the work they need done, and Muslim professionals take it on.
Why it exists
Most masjids and Muslim charities run on a small team with more work than hands. Many skilled Muslims want their skills to serve the Ummah, and have had nowhere to point them.
UmmahArmy connects the two. An organization posts a mission. A Soldier who has the skills deploys on it, does the work, and the organization's Ameer approves it.
How it works here
- Rank that means something
- Five ranks, Talib to Khalifah, earned only by approved work. Harder missions ask for a higher rank, so a rank tells an Ameer you have delivered before.
- Volunteer work counts
- A volunteer mission for a masjid builds your rank the same way any other mission does. UmmahPoints you earn are added to your UmmahPass account.
- Fees said up front
- Volunteer missions are free to post. Paid missions carry a 20% platform fee, taken from what the Soldier earns. Organizations pay the mission amount and no fee on top. Paying through the site by card is not switched on yet.
- No invented numbers
- Every count on this site is counted from real records. A mission approved automatically shows no star rating, because nobody rated it.

Counted live on Jumada I 8, 1448 AH from the mission records. A mission counts once a Soldier's work on it was approved. Test missions are left out.
Who runs it
UmmahArmy is part of Ummah Media Group, alongside UmmahPass, UmmahSocial, UmmahPlaces and UmmahCauses. One UmmahPass account signs you in to all of them.
